Dedicated to Service

Dr. Lucy Amaniyo (MBChB, MPH, MMED Pediatrics & Child Health) is an award-winning pediatrician and public health specialist focused on improving child health outcomes in resource-limited settings. She leads clinical services at Amani Children's Clinic in Nansana, Wakiso, Uganda, ensuring high standards of care across outpatient, emergency, and preventive services. She manages both routine and complex pediatric cases, with growing focus on genetics and immunology. She has clinical experience at Mulago National Referral Hospital, where she engages in high-volume pediatric care, supports management of children with complex and chronic conditions, and heads the inaugural pediatric genetics and immunology clinic. Dr. Lucy is a Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders (2017) alumna — an experience that shaped her leadership in health systems, community impact, and service delivery. She was further recognised as the 2024 International Entrepreneurship Impact Award Winner from the University of Iowa. Her work focuses on strengthening pediatric care systems, expanding access to quality child healthcare, integrating specialised services such as genetics into routine care, building capacity within clinical teams, and giving back to the community. She aims to improve the health of children in Nansana, surrounding areas, and Uganda at large — and her greatest joy is seeing children achieve their fullest potential.

He holds a Master's Degree in Management Science from Uganda Management Institute and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). With experience across East Africa and Southeast Asia, he brings a global perspective grounded in practical execution within emerging markets. He is known for his clarity of thought, decisiveness, and integrity — and operates on one principle: strong financial leadership is not support, it is the backbone of every successful institution.
